oh yeah. my fault . i need to fix that

for bacs, creditcard on delivery, cheque payments or whatever else you need along those lines etc (i.e no credit card processing / external gateways) i have added a template zip in wppizza/add-ons in v2.6.4

bear with me for a day or two, I’m just doing something in the main plugin that will aid that and will let you know here and post a bit of code (although regardless of that you are missing something somewhere or it should at least show up on the frontend)

it does that already no ? (i.e there’s a list of ingredients you have added before adding the whole shebang to the cart)

i have put that idea on my list of things to do …no ETA as to when that will be implemented though

The extension doesn’t as such allow you to set prices on a multiply level (i.e different prices for different multiplications of the same ingredient – not at the moment anyway)

However, there’s a way you can work around this somewhat (which might or might not work in your particular scenario, don’t exactly know what you are trying to do)

you could have a custom group (cheese and bacon and ham for example) which a customer can select one of each only once (or permutations thereof) for 0.00.

you could now add a second ingredient (also called cheese ) for 0.50 which is not in this custom group, but just in a default group/setting

essentially now a customer can/should (depending on your settings of the custom group) choose 1x cheese for free from that aforementioned custom group.

if he wants to add another cheese, he has to add from the other/default group (at whatever price you set there….

Hi, having read your comment, I’m just working on a version (because it’s fun and I have a bit of time) that allows you to do that (using prettyphoto)

might take a few days until i make it available in the WP repository but it’s in the making

much better to integrate this sort of thing into the plugin than coming up with some hack/workaround i would think

sure, why not.

there are a ton of plugins available that allow you to do that. (i.e put a login/register screen on a page before getting to the contsnt of it)
just have a look around on wordpress.org. I’m sure you can find one/some that satisfy your needs

in short: up to a point

the add ingredients extension allows you to setup custom groups (for lack of a better word)
i.e you could say “pizza a” allows to add dessert a or b or c for example (free or plus some additional price per topping – up to you)
and various other options (if you go to https://support.wp-pizza.com/twentytwelve/ and select “Make Your Own Pizza” you can get an idea. happy to expand/explain more if required.

furthermore, i am in the middle of testing an updated version of this extension that allows adding toppings for half/quarter pizzas (or whatever meal you choose) as well as pre-selecting or excluding toppings on a per menu item (meal) basis and a few other bits and bobs. this hopefully will be ready in a week or so ( I will make an example available in the 2012 theme somewhere)

having said that , at the moment there’s no option to say “order 3 for x £” etc and add toppings to each
(something i need to look into in conjunctions with so-called coupons i suspect)

although you could call your menu item “3 pizzas” of course for a certain price you set depending on size, I suspect it would get messy or at least not very obvious to whoever fulfills that order….
