      Hello. I’ve spent today 4-5 hours trying to setup the delivery area for 2 mile/km radius failing miserably. The old way of ‘selecting your postcode’ works fine. But in google maps – no matter what address I put, even the restaurant’s address I always get the message: “Sorry, the address selected is ambiguous or outside our serviecable area.”. No address is accepted.
      On the other hand, if I use the marker on the map – it actually displays the correct address in the bar, but this feature is unusable.
      Can anyone confirm using the google map features in United Kingdom? As it states: “THIS IS CURRENTLY HIGHLY EXPERIMENTAL” so it may not be available for UK addresses. If you use, please let me know, as I don’t want to go back to the old ‘choose your postcode selection’.

      Tested without any additional plugins that may cause the error. Tested on safari, chrome, firefox.
      This really killed me as I thought I would make the service on-line today.

        and – as i already told you – your console still says

        This API project is not authorized to use this API. Please ensure this API is activated in the Google Developers Console: https://console.developers.google.com/apis/api/places_backend?project=_ For more information on authentication and Google Maps Javascript API services please see: https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/get-api-key

        so your api key is wrong / not authorized

        i also know the gmaps option in the plugin is used in the UK on a number of sites
